Retirement Announcement
June 19th, 2009 Dear Patients: My 35 years of practicing medicine will come to an end as I retire on June 30th, 2009. It has all gone by so fast that I find it hard to believe and strange to announce my retirement. It was my sincere pleasure to treat all of you. I will particularly miss treating the children and in many cases, the children of the children. It was wonderful to see so many families grow up healthy and strong. Since deciding to retire, I have spent a lot of time deciding who would be best to take over your care. I am very pleased to announce that Vanessa R. Erickson, M.D. is joining San Francisco Ear, Nose and Throat Medical Group in August 2009. She recently completed her residency at Stanford University as Chief Resident of the program. Along with Dr. Erickson, my partners at San Francisco Ear, Nose And Throat Medical Group, Thomas L. Engel, M.D., Daniel F. Hartman, M.D., Aditi H. Mandpe, M.D., and Robert A. Mickel, M.D. are also available to care for all your ENT needs. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment with any of the five physicians.
